Built for performance and show, the K&N Short Ram intake for the S2000 is a free-flowing induction system that features a plastic tube to keep heat at a minimum. K&N does extensive tuning on a dynamometer to maximize horsepower and torque increases, they estimates power gains of almost 9.55 HP @ 6500 RPM. The S2000 intake from K&N is made out of a heat resistant wrinkle black plastic.
K&N uses a high flow conical air filter designed to provide increased surface area and dust capacity. This extra surface area provides even more airflow at lower restriction than a standard K&N OEM replacement filter that is limited to the size of the factory air box. The oversize air filter also captures more dirt increasing the service life before a cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). The K&N intake for the S2000 features a Million Mile Limited Warranty.
Note:These intake kits are the same but the 57 series is CARB certified whereas the 63 is not.
