Description
This is the Grimmspeed Turbo to Downpipe Gasket. Exhaust gaskets whether they be on the turbocharger or anywhere on the exhaust manifold see more heat than any other gasket or seal on the engine. Even though they are made from metal materials, some are multi-layered steel which means they can come apart anytime you remove the turbo, or exhaust components for maintenance or upgrades. With that being said you greatly risk creating an exhaust leak if you decide to re-use your old gasket.
Instead, use a new Grimmspeed gasket. This is their turbo to downpipe gasket made from multi-layered steel and is 22% thicker than OEM gaskets. This is a great gasket that will provide an optimal seal the first time.
