Cobb’s straightener grid is specifically designed to smooth the incoming air flow as it passes the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor for precise readings. This eliminates the “dead spots” caused by intake turbulence.

In order to provide an Evolution X intake system that looks as good as it functions, Cobb utilized a one-piece plastic high-temperature composite plastic body. Not only does this save weight, it also prevents heat soak, keeping incoming air cooler. You will not find a more researched & developed short ram intake for your Evo than the Cobb SF.
